Antigua’s Magnificent Jolly Beach is arguably the island’s most beautiful beach!
Come and experience its’ white sand and aqua blue waters with us! On this adventure, we hike the approximately 1,25 mile stretch of one of Antigua’s most beautiful beaches.
The Beach
The beach is on the East side of the island. In short, it is located in close proximity to Jolly harbour, which is a 20 minute drive from the capital of St-John’s. Consequently, due to it’s excellent location, the white sand beach is home to one of the most popular hotels on the island: the Starfish Jolly Beach Resort.
The Views
On very clear days, the islands of Montserrat, Redonda as well as St-Kitts and Nevis are visible from the beach.
Every night, the setting sun offers a different palette of exquisite colors. As a result, these are conjugated with the spectacular landscape and calming sounds of the blue Caribbean sea providing a sublime landscape.
On the northernmost section of the beach, which is part of the Jolly Harbour gated community, we can walk past many luxurious beachfront homes.
The hillside of the southernmost part of the beach hosts Coco’s hotel with its’ cabanas, some with infinity pools. Accordingly, it’s ideal location offers the most incredible views of the bay and it’s stunning sunsets.
Consequently, don’t forget that every one of the beaches on the island are open to the public and free to access. Furthermore, there are some 365 beaches on the island and you can stop for a swim at any one of them. Hence it is NOT mandatory to be a hotel customer to enjoy a day at “their” beach. Most importantly, no access to the hotel’s amenities and services will be provided (unless you pay).
