Antigua’s Valley Church Beach

On this adventure, we explore Antigua’s Valley Church Beach, one of the island’s top 10 most beautiful and tranquil beaches!

 Come with us as we experience its’ superb white sand and incredible aqua blue waters!

Location

Valley Church beach is on the East side of the island.  The beach is in close proximity to Jolly Beach and Jolly Harbour, a 20 minute drive from the capital of St-John’s.  Consequently, due to it’s excellent location, the white sand beach is home to two quite popular hotels: Cocobay resort and the Cocos hotel.

The Views

On very clear days, the islands of Montserrat, Redonda as well as St-Kitts and Nevis are visible from the beach.

Every night, the setting sun offers a different palette of exquisite colors.  As a result, the spectacular landscape and calming sounds of the blue Caribbean sea provide a stunning landscape.

On the northernmost section of Valley Church beach lies the Coco’s hotel which is also adjacent to Jolly beach.  A short walk takes us to the Jolly harbour gated community where we can see many luxurious beachfront homes.

The hillsides on either side of the beach host the Cocobay luxury resort and Coco’s hotel with their cabanas, some with infinity pools. Accordingly, it’s ideal location offers the most incredible views of the bay and it’s stunning sunsets.

Antigua’s Beaches

Don’t forget that every one of the beaches on the island are open to the public and free to access. Furthermore, there are some 365 beaches on the island and you can stop for a swim at any one of them. Hence it is NOT mandatory to be a hotel customer to enjoy a day at “their” beach. Most importantly, no access to the hotel’s amenities and services will be provided (unless you pay).
