Boeing 737 Takes Off From Antigua

This marks the last minutes of our latest adventure as our Boeing 737 takes off from Antigua’s V.C. Bird international airport.

Antigua is well known for it’s 365 beaches, one for each day of the year, and its’ luxury resorts which attract tourists from all over the world.

Some of the “must see” areas and activities in Antigua include:

  • The island’s highest point, Mount Obama, stands at 1319 feet (402 meters)
  • English Harbor
  • Shirley Heights
  • Fort George
  • The capital city of St-Johns
  • Devil’s Bridge
  • Catamaran tour circumventing the island
  • Jolly Beach, arguably one of the top five most beautiful beaches on the island
  • Antigua Black Pineapple plantation
  • Bird Island
  • Carnival (10 day festival)
  • Pillars of Hercules (can only bee seen by sea)
