Today’s adventures bring us to the Pacific side of Costa Rica where we take some time to enjoy an Eco Villas Rio Mar hotel walkthrough.

Nestled in the rainforest a few short minutes’ walk from the quaint beach town of Dominical in Costa Rica lies the beautiful and inviting Eco Villas Rio Mar hotel. Although the property can be somewhat difficult to find, using the Waze app will help bring your directly to the front door without a hitch.
The Grounds
A Villas Rio Mar hotel walkthrough provides you with an excellent opportunity to see for yourself the beautifully manicured grounds. The two swimming pools offer a very relaxing atmosphere. Among the sights and sounds we can hear singing toucans as well as other birds, animals and insects. As a matter of fact, during my many Villas Rio Mar hotel walkthroughs of the grounds, my path crossed numerous friendly iguanas as well as an agouti.
Not only did our room include a small outdoor patio with two chairs but also a sink and a mini fridge. The room was quite modern and very clean and comfortable. Although wifi service was included, the strength of the signal was spotty at best in our room. On the other hand, it was efficient enough at the reception, bar, restaurant as well as in the pool areas
Furthermore, towards the back of the compound, one can find the hotel’s rainforest trail.
Late afternoon at the pool bar, a selection of drinks are available for happy hour.
Things To Do
In fact, the Villas Rio Mar hotel is strategically located near two of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. Nauyaca Falls and Diamante Falls are only within 15-20 minute drive from the hotel.
Notably, the coastal town of Uvita and its’ famous Ballena (whale’s tail) beach is only a short drive away. Among the most popular activities available in Uvita are the Humpback whale watching tours.
