As we hike up Mount St-Bruno, we enjoy the view of the Olympic Stadium in the city of Montreal in the distance.

Located only 15 miles (23 kilometers) from downtown Montreal, Mont Saint-Bruno houses one of the region’s most popular downhill ski and snowboard schools due to its’ close proximity to the city.

Mont Saint-Bruno sits at an elevation of 699 feet (213 meters) and is adjacent to the Mont Saint-Bruno National Park, an apple orchard as well as a Canadian Forces military shooting/firing range and training area and is part of the Monteregian Hills which were created by erosion due to the movement of glaciers millions of years ago.
